Today I went and had caramel frappe together with my hazelnut waffle in a nice cozy small cafe.
While there, I noticed the same old man who was there too last Friday. I think he might be in his late 50's or early 60's. As I was reading "Fairydale" while having my quiet time, he asked if what I have is a tablet or an Ipad. I informed him it's a Kindle. I thought that was the end of it, however, he asked continuous questions about my Kindle that I offered to him if he'd like to take a look at it. Yah know, to check out the interface and feels what its like to turn the pages. He asked if its like a laptop, where to buy, how to transfer files and all. I think he is some sort of a writer because he asked if he could transfer his books there and at first I thought, he was pertaining to the books you would typically buy in a store. So I explained to him the different ways to transfer files and how to buy books from Amazon Kindle or the subscription itself. But he said, the stuff he wrote himself. Also, he asked me where I bought my Kate Spade Bag. He said he got so sad upon learning of Kate's suicide and that he wrote her a poem because of that.

While conversing, he turned out he also lives here in the same community that I do. When I asked how long he's been living here, he said he doesn't know and at first was very elusive with his answers. He asked for my name and when I asked his, he evaded the question at first by saying he doesn't really know what name to give me. Then eventually said, he tells people his name is Uncle Sam. Now mind you, he doesn't look sus or anything, he wore nice clothes and looks clean HOWEVER he was wearing the same clothes as I last saw him. After a while, he offered to buy me coffee. This was after I drank and ate my orders. I said no thank you, I've had had my fill of coffee for the day. I was waiting for him to leave so I could ask the Barista about him, cause it looks like he stays there often and do nothing... I caught him once or twice, about to fall asleep. There's just something about that pique my interest.
